So we have a little down time til our next trial and I figure I'd put a classified blog up to help out some of these folks get there items listed out to the public. Maybe if it does good we may add a classifieds section to the VOBA website, but keep in mind it would not come free. There will be an 18 inch +/- height limit. The format will be buddy judging, we will cast at day break on the 31st. There will be awards for the top thirty dogs. James Dryden will be handling the numbers you may reach him at 757-374-0316, no calls after 9 p.m. please. The entry fee will be 20 dollars per dog. We hope you can find time to come out and support a good cause while enjoying a sport we all dearly love. This is Ice's 1st win with the VOBA. Also to all those that placed as well!! We had an impressive 232 dogs at the hunt on Saturday which was a record for a fall hunt and our 2nd best turnout to date..AWESOME! I hope that I made it around to everyone who was new to our hunts and our Assoc to welcomed them, if I didn't I will do so at the next hunt. The VOBA would like to thanks Spring Creek HC for putting on another fine hunt and the hustling that the judges did to get the scores. It's difficult this time of year with all the leaves and greenery to get scores like we do at our winter hunts, but we had the highest scores at this hunt than any other fall hunt so great running by the dogs!! Pics of the trial will be up soon. Our hunts will pick back up again on January 16th at Cato Hill Hunt Club and we are probably going to have an outstanding turnout and hope everyone can make it!! We had an excellent Bar-B-Q lunch with great fellowship. The website has been updated with all the new rule changes and new additions. We hope to have the trial schedule posted soon, our first hunt of the year will be Sept 19th at Spring Creek Hunt Club.
